DIS Bhubaneswar has full-fledged canteen facilities catering to students, teaching members and staff with breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. Morning milk, breakfast, health drink, lunch, evening snacks and dinners are also served to day boarders.
Canteen payments for boarders and day boarders are collected yearly in advance, while others pay on a monthly basis. The school gives prime importance to quality standards and hygiene in food preparation and handling, and the self-service cafeteria is loved by students.

Separate boys and girls hostels are supported by wardens and staff in air-conditioned dormitory accommodation. A medical attendant is available round the clock, with tie-up support at nearby AMRI hospital and monthly medical check-ups for boarders.
The hostel day begins with jogging and light exercise, followed by supervised evening study hours, newspaper reading, educational videos and television programmes. On school holidays, boarders go out for sightseeing and shopping.
